We put much time, energy, and focus into Easter, and rightly so. It is Resurrection Sunday! The day we commemorate, or better, celebrate that reality that death did not prove victorious over Jesus. Instead, the stone rolled away, and he stepped out into the morning light alive!

But we should not let the wonder of the resurrection fade the day after Easter or the day after the day after Easter or the day after the day after the day after… you get the point. In fact, there will never be a day where Jesus returns to the grave. Death can no longer touch him. Death is destined to be his footstool.

Every day is Resurrection Day!

Let’s celebrate it as such.
