Sunday is coming!

This “holy week” we look forward to Resurrection Sunday in hope. Each day between Tuesday and Saturday, we’ll have a new prayer suggestion to prepare you, your pastor, and your church for Easter Sunday.

Day 5: Pray that our hearts would be ready to celebrate hope with friends and family tomorrow.

That Friday when Jesus died was dark. Saturday was silent. Sunday, the third day, though, saw the bright light of hope break through the clouds. Pray like this:

Father, as a follower of Jesus, my life should be filled with abundant hope. Remove distraction, sin, and fear that act as clouds which block the light of hope. Help me to celebrate your goodness and love. Help me to shine the light of hope to all those around me as an encouragement and a witness. Amen.

Day 2: Prepare Us for Worship
Day 3: Bring Those Who Need to Hear
Day 4: Comfort Us in Your Love
Day 5: Help Us Celebrate Hope
