Sunday is coming!

This “holy week” we look forward to Resurrection Sunday in hope. Each day between Tuesday and Saturday, we’ll have a new prayer suggestion to prepare you, your pastor, and your church for Easter Sunday.

Day 2: Pray that our hearts would be prepared for Sunday worship.

It’s said that Sunday worship is a Saturday decision. Really, it begins sooner than that. We should constantly be focused on preparing our hearts to worship on Sundays. Pray like this:

Father, Sunday will be here before we know it. Prepare my heart today to hear from your word, to be nourished by prayer, and to be joyful in song. Remove distractions from my life and my family that might hinder our gathering this Sunday. Help us to delight each day in Jesus. Amen.

Day 2: Prepare Us for Worship
Day 3: Bring Those Who Need to Hear
Day 4: Comfort Us in Your Love
Day 5: Help Us Celebrate Hope
